I am an Australian national and have been working with Nien Made for over 8 years in various countries around the world. My main role in the organisation has been to assist Nien Made establish new international markets for their quality range of made to measure window covering products.
With the ever expanding European business, in 2007 we established Norman Europe based in the Netherlands. This move provided Nien Made with a more permanent European presence and a springboard for future product and market development throughout Europe. It has been a great experience living and working in Europe, with direct responsibility of the development of the UK market. Together with the Norman European team... Arthur, Dennis, Marcel and Maike we look forward to playing a pivotal supply role in the future expansion of your business.

After 10 years experience in the window covering industry in several countries and 8 years of sales-marketing in the ICT industry I started working for Norman Europe in 2008. "What makes working for the Norman Europe team unique?" Nien Made as a global player, impressive track record since 1974, Taiwanese management, professional long term producer in China of window covering concepts , CVC as an investment advisory firm since 2007 an European sales and marketing office to enlarge the business for Nien Made. These ingredients and implementing with our customers outside - in programs in order to add value to their markets provides endless energy!

After working for 5 years as salesman(ager) southern europe and 5 years in France as a commisions agent for a dutch import/export company in seasonal decoration items and more then 10 years as sales manager for a German manufacturing company I joined Norman Europe ,the european sales office of the Nien Made Group, in the beginning of 2008. Via the Norman Europe team we offer the european window covering distributors and fabricators manufacturing partnership with global scalability,competetiveness combined with exeptional service and a sustainable supply solution.

Having worked in the international soft furnishing business for a period of almost 14 years I thought it was time to combine pleasure and business and therefore started my own business. I started a small shipyard where we did maintenance and refits. Although reasonable successful I decided, after 5 years, to go back in my profession as Sales Representative as I missed the regular personal contact with customers. Now at Norman Europe a silent wish is coming through to return to work in an international environment again. Therefore I am looking forward expanding and developing the European market in my position as a Business Development Manager.

As a proactive and adaptable Business Development Manager with over 7 years experience with international business development I joined the Norman Europe team right after the establishment of Norman Europe in 2007. From day one I recognized the opportunity for a strong and reliable global manufacturer partner like Nien Made Enterprise in the European window covering market. Therefore I am delighted to be part of the Norman Europe team and look very much forward to continue developing existing and new business opportunities together with our business partners in Italy, Northern and Eastern Europe for the upcomming years...

In February 2008 I moved from Germany to the Netherlands and started working for Norman Europe in November that year. After a business study in Germany I am now supporting Matthew and the Business Development Managers in their daily tasks. I am also taking care of all Marketing issues and the internet presence of Norman Europe including our new webpage. I am strongly looking forward to be part of Norman Europe´s success in the upcoming years.
